Inhabit

I got the office window insert installed today. Fresh air is possible! Just unlikely since it’s forty degrees out. I sadly smashed my Nativity Tree and Quebec Totem in the process. But I guess you can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.

Tin

Added a tin flap to deflect rain from coming through the window insert.

Books

I recently discovered that you can legally add other libraries to your Libby app – in addition to your local library – to increase the number and availability of downloadable e-books in your to-read list. Whoah! This is valuable info. In related news, I also discovered that there is a native epub reader on iPhone that I’m assuming you can sideload books to. I don’t like reading books on my phone – I prefer a dedicated e-ink device. But Mr. K is not so devoted. So we may be able to share books by my pushing books onto his iPhone. I’m going to experiment.

Ha

Ha! What? Why are the algos taunting my new fiber lifestyle?

Hannah

It hit me this morning that Hannah Waddingham – of Ted Lasso and 12 Monkeys fame – played the Shame Nun With Bell in Game of Thrones. I didn’t think I could love her any more. But now I do!

High Life

I’m getting super excited about Mr. K’s super secret getaway adventure next weekend!

Out

Went outside. Almost died of exposure. Had to buy a $25 hat halfway to make it back alive.

Fiber Fantasy

I feel like I’ve discovered a new secret and want to sing it from the rooftops! Fiber before bed has transformed my life over the last week. Who knew? Now, I need to work at making it a habit. That’s the struggle because I am not good at doing much of anything when I am shuffling like a zombie toward bed.

Mount

I got the plexiglass mounted on one insert. I used construction adhesive and finishing nails. I drilled guide holes around the edges. I’ll also caulk to prevent air or rain from getting into the cracks.

Tight

Can we talk about my a-hole? I changed up my fiber routine a bit. I’m doing a tablespoon of fiber and a probiotic at night before bed. I moved it to night because fiber can sometimes make me painfully gassy. Who cares if I fart while I’m asleep? I mean other than Mr. K? I’ve made it a habit while I’m getting my coffee ready. And Wow! I am pooping like a champ! I feel kinda bloated and full all day. But I’ve lost a few pounds, so no big whoop. Maybe feeling full is normal? Regardless, whatever I’m doing is a positive change overall. My body likes it. If you’re on the struggle bus, give the nighttime fiber technique a try!

Combo

I just learned how to combine photos into a tile on iPhone! This changes everything!
